Ms. Dumont established Dumont Strategic Business Advisors to provide management consulting services to small and large sized organizations. Prior to launching her consultancy, Ms. Dumont worked as Marketing and Finance Director in Florida's thriving medical industry. She later spent seven years as Vice-President of Finance and Marketing, managing the growth of international sporting and outdoors catalog retailer Murray Brothers Inc., a successful privately owned corporation by Ray B. Mundt – retired Chairman of Alco Standard and Unisource Worldwide. In 2002, Ms. Dumont played a key role in the sale of the company and later joined UK based Medibroker International Inc. She worked in the England office while planning the launch of Medibroker USA, a Florida based sister company that was mandated to develop the international health and medical tourism markets in North and South America.
Ms. Dumont obtained a degree in economics from the University of Ottawa, followed by a Certificate of International Business Administration from Université Canadienne en France. She relocated to South Florida in 1993 and obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA). Since 2005, she provides expert advice within the private and public sectors; she is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC), is green belt certified in LEAN Management, holds expert level certifications as a Business Analyst and Business Coach and is a member of the Project Management Institute. Ms. Dumont is fluent in English and French and provides services in either language.
Dominique is committed to seeing her clients succeed; she particularly is focused on identifying and resolving issues that hinder growth and prevent businesses from achieving their immediate goals. While results are the key drivers in the process, her consultation approach is personable, methodical and very practical. Ms. Dumont is extremely passionate about her work and abides by strict ethical guidelines and values including the professional CMC Code of Conduct. She is a committed supporter of the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation, Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League and the Center for Missing and Exploited Children. In her spare time she enjoys downhill skiing, swimming, kayaking with her Persian cat and using her power tools to just fix stuff! A good challenge is what keeps this woman motivated and happy!
