Dominique Dumont founded Dumont Strategic Business Advisors with one goal: to empower small and medium-sized organizations to overcome challenges, unlock growth, and achieve measurable results. Drawing on decades of experience across industries and continents, Dominique combines strategic vision with practical, hands-on expertise to guide clients toward success.
Before launching her consultancy, Dominique held senior roles as Marketing and Finance Director within Florida’s thriving medical industry and later as Vice President of Finance and Marketing for Murray Brothers Inc., an international sporting and outdoor retailer owned by Ray B. Mundt, retired Chairman of Alco Standard and Unisource Worldwide. In 2002, she played a pivotal role in the sale of Murray Brothers and transitioned to Medibroker International Inc., based in the UK, where she worked to launch Medibroker USA, spearheading growth in international health and medical tourism markets across the Americas.
Dominique holds a degree in Economics from the University of Ottawa and a Certificate of International Business Administration from Université Canadienne en France. After relocating to South Florida in 1993, she earned her MBA and has since accumulated an extensive list of credentials, including:
Certified Management Consultant (CMC)
Expert-Level Business Analyst
Certified Business Coach
Green Belt in Lean Management
She is also a member of the Project Management Institute. Fully bilingual in English and French, Dominique delivers services seamlessly in either language.
Today, Dominique is expanding her expertise into Artificial Intelligence. Currently pursuing certification in AI Strategy, she is passionate about helping clients harness AI tools to future-proof their organizations, optimize operations, and build competitive advantage in an increasingly digital world.
Dominique’s consulting approach is personable, methodical, and results-driven. She is known for identifying root issues that hinder growth and delivering solutions that combine real-world pragmatism with academic rigour. Clients value her commitment, her strategic clarity, and her unwavering ethics grounded in the professional CMC Code of Conduct.
Outside of her consulting practice, Dominique is an active supporter of the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation, Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, and the Center for Missing and Exploited Children. She enjoys downhill skiing, hiking, swimming, kayaking with her Persian cat and listening to music.
